Primates of Malaysia

On Wednesday I got a stamp set from Malaysia on a postcard.

The stamps show Primates of Malaysia.
- White-handed Gibbon
- Silvered Leaf Monkey
- Macaque

Actually the stamps are much brighter, but for some reason my scanner did not want to show the colours.

ASEAN Joint Issue

Today I got a stamp pack in a cover from Indonesia.

The pack includes the stamps of a joint issue issued by the members of the ASEAN on 8th August 2015. I never received mint stamps from any of the countries in the set, so I received mint stamps from ten new countries with this set.


Brunei is a country on Borneo in Southeast Asia bordered by Malaysia. In 1984 became Brunei independent from the United Kingdom. Because of its petroleum and natural gas fields is Brunei one of the richest nations of the World. The capital of Brunei is Bandar Seri Begawan.


The Kingdom of Cambodia is a state in Southeast Asia. Cambodia is bordered by Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. Phnom Penh is the capital of the country.


Indonesia is a country in South East Asia. It is the largest insular state and the fourth most populous country in the World. It borders on East Timor, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. Its capital is Jakarta.


Laos is a country in South East Asia bordering on China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar. Its capital and largest city is Vientiane.


Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia consisting of 13 states and federal territories. Malaysia is bordering on Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei. The capital of Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia is one of the few Elective monarchies in the world.


Myanmar is a country in Southeast Asia bordering on Bangladesh, India, China, Laos and Thailand. Myanmar is officially called the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, but is also known as Burma. The capital of Myanmar is Naypyidaw.

NOTE: Myanmar issued two stamps. If someone can help me to get the second stamp as well I would be more than happy.


The Philippines is a country in South East Asia consisting of 7107 islands. The capital of the Philippines is Manila.


Singapore is an insular and city state south of Malaysia. It is is the smallest country in South East Asia. It is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations.


Thailand is a country in South East Asia. It borders on Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia. Bhumibol Adulyadej, the King of Thailand, is the longest-serving current head of state in the World. The capital of the country is Bangkok.


Vietnam is a country in Southeast Asia bordering on China, Laos and Cambodia. The capital of Vietnam is Hanoi.
