French Roosters

Today I got a souvenir sheet from France on a cover.

- Houdan chicken, an old French breed of domestic chicken
- Gallic rooster, the unofficial national symbol of France
- Meusien Chicken, a breed of domestic chicken from the Meuse department in France
- Marans, a breed of chicken well-liked at poultry shows

Thai Instruments

Yesterday I got a stamp set from Thailand on a postcard.

This is it:



60th birthday of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (issued 03-08-2015)
The stamps were issued for the THAIPEX Stamp Exhibition and show instruments played by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was born in 1955 as third child of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. She is known as "Phra Thep", the "princess angel" and also as Princess of Technology. She works for nonprofit projects and organisations like the Red Cross. She is not married and do not have children.
- Ranat Ayk, similar to a xylophone
- Saw Sam Sai, a bowed string instrument similar to a fiddle
- Saw Duang, a two-stringed instrument used in traditional Thai music
- Jakhay, a plucked zither
